"friendly atmosphere, superb food"

Arrived in morecambe to visit family, stopped for lunch in the downstairs cafe area of mcthai, food superb freshly cooked and tasty, service second to none, especially treated our 2 young children well which as a parent always goes down well. Also super location with stunning views. Definetely worth a return visit when next in the area!

"A triumph for Morecambe"

My daughter recommended McThai to me, we had a takeaway and I am impressed with the food. NO stodgy sauces, just very tasty food made with fresh ingredients and crisp vegetables. I had a chat to the owner, it is a family run concern and they are all working very hard to create a successful dining experience. The decor will be addressed in time but at the moment they are concentrating on the food which makes sense to me. I know I will be returning with friends to dine in the restaurant next time.

"I am Hooked"

I have not yet ate in the main restaurant but I have in the cafe on the ground floor. The decor could do with an update but the food and friendly service more than make up for this!! I have also had serveral take outs as well. The food is so amazing I have had one weekly for the past 6 weeks!

"A warm welcome, great food, and a lovely senic veiw"

We were greeted warmly at the door and shown upstairs to the restaurant. The staff took us to a table and made sure we were comfortable, informed us that the meals were all cooked fresh, took our drink order, and left us with the menu. the waitress returned a couple of minutes later with our drinks and took our order. My partner chose the Duck Hong Kong which wassuperb and cooked to perfection, and i went for Tomyam which wasa type of soup with king prawns, tomatoes, fresh lemongrass and ginger to name but some of the ingredient, this again was fantastic with a nice heat to it. Throughout the evening we were approached by the staff and were asked if everything was ok and if there was anything else we required, we both enjoyed soaking up the relaxing atmosphere and watching the sunset. At the time of writing the restaurant were waiting for their drinks lience comming through, however you could take in your own drink. I look forward to visiting again, and sampling more of their fine cuisine.
